Tank 3 cycling in progress, ammonia at 2ppm, nitrite and nitrate at 0, cant wait to transfer my shrimps and old rock to the new 10G tank from the old 1G. Biosphere from old tank to aid in seeding bacteria to the new moss ball and rock.

Hue of green starting to form after feeding of spirulina powder.

Ammonia is still not subsiding at this point of time.

The bubbles keep appearing even i blew it off with pipette a dozen times. May I know why the bubble keep appearing and when will it stop? Is this a sign of tank in cycling?

For my record purpose, ammonia at 0.5ppm now.

Just a sign that your tank is going through it's cycle. Just leave it alone.

Looks like a good sign to me, it means the algae is getting enough light that it's pearling - producing oxygen.

Vorteil: Will the tank still bubble after cycle?

Javik: my concern if the tank bubbles persistently, then my opaes may have a hard time walking on the rocks. There's bubble everywhere and yes the light is strong.
