Context:
Tank A:
9L (with sponge filter)
20 shrimps + 2 Nerites + Chaeto Algae
I have had Tank A for 2 months, no cycling as advised by breeder, mainly pour in brackish water from breeder and introduce shrimps, together with weekly droplets of bacteria to encourage biofilm. Both shrimps and nerites are doing well, even the chaeto is growing.
Tank B is a brand new tank with 10L capacity.
Also since Tank B does not have any buffer for PH, planning to get crushed coral, where do i place these? In the filter or just randomly in the tank?
Reasons for moving:
Aesthetic purposes and also want to rebuild substrate (black sand)+ lava rocks. Original Tank A setup was acquired from breeder.
So should i pour in the water from Tank A to Tank B, and top up with RO or setup tank B and wait for it to cycle?
