Found some interesting projects that people did using livestock they had caught themselves. These ones were done using organisms native to the coastal waters of northern Europe.

Those look fantastic, it reminds me of when i was younger we would visit one of my fathers friends and he had 2 huge empty fish tanks setup like this for cold marine. He would take a trip to the coast/sea (bare in mind we are at least 100 miles away from the sea) and take 2 buckets of water from the ocean. He had a pump and stuff in his van to keep the water healthy and would make the trip home and pour them into his tanks. Then he would sit back and watch what came from the water he carried home. Last time i saw he had large crabs, fish and all sorts that seemed to grow from no where and it was so cool!

When everting had grown he would return the stock back to the sea and bring back 2 more buckets of sea water and start the process again.
