The rock was from one of my other tanks but they are not grazing, some of them are sat on top of each other too on the rock?

Got it. That explains it. Now you need a pic of them top of each other.

Not much to add at the moment but the tank is doing great so far, no losses and i added around 10 litres of fresh brackish water to the tank. I also had to disturb the tank by moving a few rocks to get to a cave that had a huge air pocket in it and i could see this when looking at my tank which was annoying me lol, that's all sorted but the shrimp are going wild. I also gave the tank direct sunlight to try and spur on some algae growth, also fed the tank.

The new tank is doing great, everyone has red'nd up again and they are all eating and exploring. I will do some water tests tomorrow and check the usual suspects; ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, PH and SG. Here are some quick photos i snapped.

I had a free 10 minutes today so I decided to test the new tanks water parameters and here is what i got:

PH: 8.0
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm

So all is good but id prefer the PH to be at 8.2 - 8.4 but that may come eventually as the tank ages, the ammonia test looks a bit sketchy but it always does, if you are ever unsure test your tank water and test a spare tube with fresh water and compare the 2 tubes. If both look the same you know the reading from your tank really is a zero (0 and a low reading can look very similar).
