Had the Doctor Beaker head on this afternoon and went round the greenhouse with a razor blade scraping different Algae off the wet glass, shelves and found one piece growing on a pebble under a drip,
transfered them to jars with RO water + Marine salt to SG 1.012, then placed by the tank lights

Still a begginer to all this, so the Bacteria turn Ammonia into Nitrite then more Bacteria turn this into Nitrate and the Algae use this to grow.
So my Algae in RO water @ SG 1.012 with Marine salt have no food, apart from Light. I added x5 drops of Baby Bio to 250ml of RO water gave it a stir
then added x5 drops of the mix to each Algae jar

After reading through Halocaridina's thread 'First aquarium' I've scrapped the Algae Farm :dead: as it looks like it's a problem without adding any unknown Algae to the tank which I'll let cycle, then think about adding some Chaetomorpha
