I got my shrimp in late December and I noticed one shrimp is berried. Will all the young survive?

Oh wow that’s great news! Your tank water must be perfect for them, a good time to check your water parameters, SG, temp etc and keep it like it is. I add a line to the outside of the tank where the water line should sit so I know how much water to top off with to bring the salinity back to the perfect level you have now. Are you in the UK?

@deedee71

Welcome to the site. Post pics throughout the gestation process. You never know if they will survive or not. At least you can share with us here on the site from start to finish. Maybe you can share info on your tank set up as well.

hi, im in the uk, bought my little ones from Odin in late December 2018. Theyre in a 12 litre tank from pets at home, with a heater keeping temperature at 21 degrees celsius, salinity is 1.012, coral sand and lava rockclumps, plastic sea fans. mts snails really keep algae down to nothing. Tank lid has a big gap so keep topping it up with R.O. water. i put powdered spirulina in the tank which lays on the surface film, doesnt get eaten.

my phone camera is rubbish, but i will try and take some more as she progresses with the eggs.

I’m thinking of removing some mts snails. There are too many in there because the tank’s too clean.

Look likes she's coming along very nicely. I'm sure you're counting down the days till they're released.
