I see a few female ML with eggs. As soon as I disturb the tank all the ML almost instantly dissapear. I think the best time to catch is when I feed. I don't feel like tearing the tank down & still not ready right now to try to raise the larvae. Maybe a week or two I'll try.

What if a black net compared to a white net makes a difference when trying to catch them with food.
Why wouldn't the Opae Ula share his food? Because he was a little shellfish

Knowing how difficult it is, I never really tried. Lots of berried ML though. Have you tried again?

I didn’t try either. Too much going on in work and life . I started out with six but only 3 remain now, one male and two female. The females berry almost constantly but none survive.

I think I overfed them. There was a time I went crazy feeding them live brine shrimp. Watching them hunt down the live brine shrimp was really fun. But I think Lohena are like dogs, they will keep eating when they see food, even though they are already stuffed.
