Experiment "mossgrow110920" has been initiated:
When I got home, I mixed up some instant brackish ocean and put cleaned lava rocks in a container. I poured in the brackish water. Then I took a rock with the test moss and scraped off some of the moss with a butter knife and added it to the container. I set the container on a shelf in a window that catches the morning sun through a sheet of light diffuser. Now to just let it sit and see if nature makes it grow. I still may add a source of CO2.
