I would just leave it alone. No need to do continual water changes. You have some ammonia no big deal.

Keep in mind to have a well balanced ecosystem you need all that shrimp poop. It feeds the algae that feeds your shrimp. This jar pictured here has tons of it. I never check the water. No deaths and it's over 4yrs old. Started with 15 now there's over 50. It gets direct sunlight 5 hrs a day or so.

My jar is closed most of the time. I open it up every 2 weeks or so for air/gas exchange. Here's pics of it. I just had babies released again in here a week ago. That is not sand at the bottom. It is necessary for the jar in order to be in balance.
