That's great. I think the algae is just right for the opae. Good balance there and since you have a berried female the parameters are right.

maybe it is too dark, full brightness would make it easier to spot the berried shrimp. I notice this berried shrimp hardly come out for a swim or what, it is hiding most of the time and i have a difficult time to spot it too.

yes vorteil, i scrapped the algae off the front glass of the tank and it looks as if it is algae flakes so now there are tons of algae for them, i do not need to feed them anymore.

When I saw this shrimp, I immediately felt there is something weird about it. Does anyone feels the same as I do and why?

usually the head of the shrimp is red and only the saddle is black however for this shrimp here, the entire head was black. That was what caught my attention.
