Great! Also, I’ve barely seen them since the first day! I know they love lava rock piles to hide in but now they stay in there all the time :(. Except for the big red brave one of course. He seems to explore a lot.

Give them chance to settle in and the tanks parameters to even out to their liking and I’m sure you will see them more often.

I figured as much. Also, in all my tanks I’ve always had a hard time getting my ph up. No matter how much aragonite, crushed coral, whole coral, egg shells, cuttlebone I use, I have such a hard time getting it to 8! I’ve used the instant ocean salt recommended, as well as purified sea water from the store, mixed with RO. The only thing that worked once was using a tiny eensy bit of Kent super buffer dkh.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the PH, aslong as there is somthing to help buffer it and stop the tank crashing I wouldn’t worry.
