Nope i don't let natural light into the room i have my tanks, i used too and the algae went mental! never again lol it took so much time to remove it all and i upset the shrimp alot :lol:

I skipped feeding this weekend, the shrimps all seem happy and i snagged a few shots of the berried shrimp in tank #03

Im just hoping next month i will see some larvae floating around!

Today i decided to carry out some tank maintenance on the large tank #03 and removed a large amount of hair algae. The majority came away really easy on the sand but i left some that was attached to the ocean rock because it was pretty stuck on there.

:laugh: lol no they just frenzy around and swarm like in the video when they are upset, they will calm down in a few hours hopefully.

decided to take a few shots of some of the banded Opae ula while they were out and about, 3 of them were out finding food and the other 3 must of been hiding. Ones swimmerets are very fanned out which I've tried to capture in the photos.

I also turned the temperature back up to 21 deg in tank #03 and tested the Nitrates after all the substrate poking and algae removal, Test looks good though! i have not dosed biodigest this fortnight. The water must be OK as the berried mum is still carrying :laugh:

No sorry that is the female from my big communal tank, Two of the banded females in their own tank have fanned swimmerettes so next month we should see some eggs hopefully :smile:
