The Opae ula shrimp Forum and online store

Hi everyone!

Its been so long since I last visited this forum!
So my previous batch of shrimps died, till now I don't know the reason.

Bought 10 shrimps and I'm starting out again.
Hope it'll be better this time round.

Anw, I have 2 shrimps that are getting fatter at the belly area, does that mean that they are ready to have eggs?

Hey Priscilla! Long time no see :)

Sorry for the losses you had... it can be many reasons why shrimp die, maybe some sort of contamination? Did you restart the tank or just leave it and buy more?

It does indeed sound like they could soon carry eggs if they have gone sort of 'plump' in the mid section. Hopefully you will get some babies! Keep us up to date on the progress.

When did you start your new tank?

I restarted a new tank, I threw everything away
But i still miss seeing them so I decided to start a new tank.

Only the belly is puffing up, not eggs yet tho.
Not sure if they are getting ready to be berried
If they are, I'm eggcited!
