pentux’s First Opae Ula Tank

Received my 12litre tank last week and started the journey very quickly.
It came with LED lights.
Custom-made a cover for the tank as this tank does not come with one.
Quickly went to buy ornaments, lavarock and ocean salt last night.
Today went to get moss ball, food and nitrite bacteria for faster startup.
Salinity level looks ok. Tomorrow will measure again.
Will wait for water test kit from amazon as singapore selling these for way too much.

My “real” first was a purchase from a shop.
15 shrimps in it. I do feed them a few pellets every week though. So far have been there for 2 months+ already

They certainly seem nice a red and appear to be happy with their jar

pic quality still bad as the jar does not reflect lights properly...

Poured in a pack of 1.5l cultured water and added the snail.
Snail still alive after 2 hours and so in went the shrimps.
Added sea fan and sea weed.
Simple tank for now.
More shrimps soon once settled down

Hope they survive while water is being cycled. Although my initial plan was not to introduce them so early.
*pray hard for the 5 shrimps and snail*

Do you have any biodigest? I highly recommended this if you start to run into issues, it’s great for starting tanks with shrimp in it.
