I read that shrimp have so little bio load that the tank might recycle. I wonder if that has been anyone's experience. If an Opae Ula tank has no other occupants, would the tank recycle? If so, what can be done about it?

You can get mini cycles in tanks of any type but its not something i would worry about with an Opae ula tank to be honest, i have never encountered any issues but if you do wish to monitor the situation just do random tests on the water parameters (Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates) and if you get readings that are unwanted carry out a water change or dose something to help neutralize the effects i use Biodigest and keep it on hand for emergency's.
