To turn off email notifications

Is there a way to turn off email notifications when subscribed to a topic?
The "Edit notification options" are all unchecked... but I get emails.

it seems to be a bug in the forum software
https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-14754 phpbb havent fixed this yet, best thing to do is unsubscribe to the thread if you are getting too many emails, sucks i know but unfortunately it is what it is for now.

Have you got the tapatalk app for your phone? Its free and notify's you via the app when someone posts etc... its great.

Oh, yeah? But the thing is that I mostly use the laptop for the forum... I use this phone keyboard only if I have to. Those tiny keys drive me insane. Nevertheless I'll take a look at it.
